First Russell Mix Up of the Year

The first Russell Club Mix Up of the year. We will try and put out a few here and there. This particular mix was done on a Sunday afternoon on the weekend of celebrating 75 years of Elvis Aaron Presley. It is a considerably strange mix of music but at the end of the day who cares. It is there if you want it. Some old bits and some new bits. Some fast bits and some slow bits. Some uplifting bits and some fucking miserable bits.

'Ere y'are

Lasts up till Jan 24th

One of the Russell Club's most beloved bands to emerge from the last few years are back from a time of absence from the spotlight. Morden's finest yesterday released a new album entitled 'No Hope No Future'

You can go to the official Good Shoes website where you can get your hands on a lovely bundle which contains a signed vinyl album, album on CD, bonus CD, singed 7" single and limited edition poster

Here is the first single from the album which is out now

The Libertine is the current regular home of the Russell Club and is a great public house in SE1. It is agreed that the pizza is close to perfect, without a shadow of a doubt one of the best in London.

The Russell Club barks up generally on the last Friday of every month throughout 2010
